Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 30, 2026
MyOutDesk, LLC ("MyOutDesk," "we," "us," or "our") operates MyOutDesk Grow (the "Service"), a team meeting and goal management platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Information We Collect
Account information via Google Sign-In.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google account profile: your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this solely to create and identify your account. We do not receive your Google password.
Workspace content.
Content you and your team create in the Service, including meetings, meeting notes, goals and milestones, scorecard metrics, issues, to-dos, comments, and uploaded files and images.
Usage and log data.
Standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, collected to keep the Service secure and reliable.
Cookies.
We use cookies strictly for authentication, session management, and security (such as preventing cross-site request forgery). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How We Use Google User Data
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We only use your Google profile information (name, email, profile picture) to authenticate you and display your identity to your teammates within the Service.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
- Humans do not read your Google user data except with your consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or when aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- To synchronize content in real time between members of your workspace.
- To send transactional emails, such as invitations and optional digest notifications you have enabled.
- To send you promotional communications about MyOutDesk and MyOutDesk Grow products and services if you sign up for the Service. You can opt out of promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in each one, and opting out does not affect transactional emails about your account.
- To protect the security and integrity of the Service and its users.
- To comply with legal obligations.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- Within your workspace. Content you create is visible to members of your company workspace and teams according to the Service's access controls.
- With service providers that host our infrastructure, store uploaded files, and deliver email, only as needed to operate the Service and under confidentiality obligations.
- For legal reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of MyOutDesk, our users, or the public.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account or your company's workspace is active. Certain content is deleted automatically: images shared during a meeting's check-in are permanently deleted when that meeting ends. When a workspace or account is deleted, associated personal information is removed from our production systems within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements and residual backup copies that expire on a rolling basis.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and short-lived signed URLs for file access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, and loss.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the Service, or by contacting us. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email before the changes take effect. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
